Best Seasonal Restaurants in New Albany

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the staff. You truly made my fiancée and I’s night unforgettable. The romantic ambiance was incredibly warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a special evening. Although I can’t recall the names of my server and the hostess—who I believe was the lovely blonde lady in the rose shirt—I want you to know how much their efforts meant to us. I was so touched when she reached out earlier in the week to confirm our reservation and to inquire about how I planned to surprise my fiancée with the earrings. Knowing how anxious I was about the entire plan, it meant the world to have such thoughtful support from the team. They truly went above and beyond to ensure that our night was memorable, and it absolutely was! Our server was fantastic as well. He really knew the menu inside and out, providing wonderful suggestions to help us navigate our first experience at the restaurant. We are already looking forward to making another reservation because this place has quickly become our favorite, even surpassing Hyde Park downtown in our eyes. Thank you once again from the bottom of my heart for creating such a calming and beautiful atmosphere for our Valentine’s Day dinner. We can’t wait to return soon! - Nathan H.

Dined here on Valentine’s Day. As expected, Texas de Brazil was hopping with celebratory holiday diners. Overall, our dining experience was outstanding, for it was our first time visiting. From the well-stocked salad bar to the variety of meat offerings all were delightful! Our server/attendant, Marcus, was personable and engaging. Texas de Brazil will be a place that I will visit to celebrate special occasions. The bacon-wrapped filet mignon is to die for.

We had reservations for Valentine’s Day. It was very busy, but we were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation. We were seated upstairs. The room is amazing. Music was a little loud, but a conversation across the table was not a problem. Of the salads, appetizers and entrees we ordered, the only item that was slightly disappointing was the octopus. It was charred perfectly and was very tender, but it lacked seasoning. The sauce was great and added flavor. I Despite every table being full in the bar and both floors, the service was very good.

Amazing! From the time we walked in the door, until we left, it was amazing. We come every Valentine’s Day to enjoy a great dinner. Never disappointed! We live 30+ minutes, but Cap City is well worth the drive. The dinner was delicious. Thank you to the Management, front desk staff, our server, cooks and cleanup for the great experience. We’ll be back!!

Great as usual. Only complaint is they started using garlic seasoning for their fries some months ago and still are. The new seasoning is not for me. The way they seasoned the fries before I always told people they had the best fries I have ever had.
