- OTOpenTable DinerVIPNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe visited the Black Whale on Valentine’s Day. We had a reservation for 6:30 and were seated at 7:00. The place was mobbed so we anticipated a delay. Once we were seated, we were given 2 glasses of champagne for the delay which was totally unexpected. It was a very nice gesture. Our server Amy was exceptional. She was so pleasant and professional. All the staff were top notch and pleasant. We started with the boom boom shrimp which were delicious with a nice kick. I had the steak frites and it was perfection. It’s always an exceptional cut and cooked just the way I like it. My husband ordered the lobster thermidor which he said was delicious. If you’re up for a delicious dinner with exceptional service, this is the place.More infoThe Black WhalePrice: Expensive• Seafood• New Bedford•4.8

We had two entrees, the lamb and the scallops. Both were cooked perfectly. We did not leave a morsel on the plate. We also tried a new wine that is now our favorite. We will definately be going back soon. Top notch ambiance, service, and food.More infoCork Wine and Tapas BarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• New Bedford•4.6

- MMegGreater Boston •22 reviews4.0Dined on Jan 4, 2025Service was stellar! Our waitress was very attentive. Food was also very tasty- the new fried Brussels sprouts were very good. Only issue was the kitchen must have forgotten to fire our kid’s chicken tenders. She munched on her fruit and fries and legit the tenders came out last. It happens- she still ended up eating them all.More infoMoby Dick Brewing Co.Price: Moderate• Pub• New Bedford•4.4
