Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Avon / Avon Lake

Had a 6pm reservation, we got there about 10 mins early and were seated as soon as we walked in. Service was excellent! Never had to wait on a refill, she explained the menu and extras not on the menu. Food was delicious. A little pricey but with the options and quality well worth it. The pretzels they bring out as complimentary bread come with compound butters that were amazing. I despise mustard but the Dijon butter was wow!! Definitely worth the trip!!

Our first time at Hyde Park and we were definitely not disappointed! Crab cake app was good, steaks and lobster tails were the best we’ve had in a long time! To end the dinner they brought out a toasted s’mores dessert for my husband’s birthday! Would highly recommend!

Our second visit to the Cabin Club was for a late seating on Valentine's Day. The food, ambience, service, and staff were outstanding. As an ex waiter, I really appreciate the staff here. Everything moves in a relaxed, efficient manner balancing good attention to our table without being obnoxious, if you know what I mean. The menu here has enough variety of appetizers, seafood, pasta, soup, steaks, meats, and desserts to please just about anyone. Kudos to Chef and management! Add to that a well rounded selection of house cocktails, wine, and beer and you cannot help but have a terrific meal here. One last thing, and this is for the men reading this review: Gentlemen, is it too much to ask to throw on a blazer or suit jacket to take your wife or girlfriend out for a Valentine's Day dinner? When a restaurant website suggests Business Casual for attire, they are referring to what a man should wear. Dress up guys, your lady will love you all the more for it!

It is always a great time at Cooper’s Hawk. We had a wonderful server, Quinn. She was very attentive and gave us great recommendations for our meals. We had the gnocchi a la vodka, gnocchi a la carbonara. Delicious! We also had two bottles of wine: The Artists Red and the Bonarda Malbec. So so good. Ended with a cremeux and a chocolate cake. We left feeling happy, full, and will absolutely be back. Quinn is awesome. Ask to sit in her section: she will provide great service! Cooper’s is lucky to have a server as great as her.

Opening night at the new Hecks in Avon was a treat. The new building is beautiful and the 2 of us were seated at a 4 seat table. Quite comfortable. The decoration of the new place is very nice but not over done. Service was excellent as was the food. My wife and I made it for happy hour on a Thursday and enjoyed the reduced priced wine. My wife had the 1/2 house salad which she always enjoyed and I had the French Onion Soup. First time I had ordered the french onion soup and found it quite good. The Hecks burger was cooked perfectly and the accompanying french fries were hot and just a little crisp (not soggy). A quick walk around after dinner to see the new 'garden' area. With big garage doors it will be very nice when warm weather arrives. Great job on the the place and keep up the good service and food.
