With quality stonework and attractive sloping edges Lock 10 is one of 46 along the Royal Canal and continues to be a testament to the skill of the craftsmen involved. Our bar is adjacent to the Lock Keepers House, a post that became obsolete in 1961 when the canal was closed to traffic the previous year. Excellent as always! Super food and great service! Very impressed how an incident in the play area was handled, staff super quick to clean up and no drama created! It really is a great place for all the family to enjoy themselves! I’ve also just realised I was super late for my booking (I mixed up my times!) nothing was even said which I would have been mortified over, so really appreciate that we were accommodated with ease!

Really Good brunch menu. Pancakes fab and served with plenty of crispy bacon. Waffle dish was a small portion - just the one small waffle. Excellent coffee. Excellent service. Dog friendly (on the covered terrace). The down side was that we were the only diners, so atmosphere was lacking. Very good value for money though

Booked slevins for a family meal. Was giving the raised area, could watch the euros comfortably. Waiter very promptly came and took our order,and told us the days specials. We received our drinks followed swiftly by our main course. Afterwards we were told there was music out in the beer garden. So we went to investigate. And ended up staying for the evening. Music whatas fabulous. Service was great. Overall the evening was fantastic
