- AArtrellNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoI visited on a Friday night, when there are live l performances. On this night, there was Flaminco music with a dancer. They were outstanding! A great add on to the ambiance. The restaurant is beautifully decorated to the theme and the service is stellar. Everyone was pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable. There are several intriguing options in each section of their robust (but not overwhelming) menus. I did not need the cocktail or wine menus, but I did glance them over. But all of my attention went to the food menu. Everything was fresh and delicious. I had the calamari appetizer, the eggplant appetizer, a salad and paella. That's enough food for 3 meals (I took much of it to the hotel room). It was all prepared to perfection. I also had to go in on dessert, which was also delicious! I might apply for a job there to justify me spending as much time there as I want to! Excellent overall experience!!!More infoTaberna del AlabarderoPrice: Expensive• Traditional Spanish• Downtown•4.7
- JJenifervipWashington, D.C. Area •22 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoIt is truly an amazing experience. We had a fabulous evening. Thank you. The only feedback that feels necessary to share just because everything else was so spectacular is the desserts were not worthy of the rest of the experience. It was beyond disappointing when the meal was as good as it was. To end on stale tasting dry boring cookies was not how I thought it would go. I hope that gets different as I would very much like to go again but dessert is also super important. Thanks for letting me share.More infoThe Bazaar by José Andrés - DCPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• Penn Quarter•4.7
- NSNathanSMaine •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe had been wanting to have dinner at Jaleo for the past few years and finally got to go tonight for my wife’s birthday dinner. Let me start off by saying that it lived up to and exceeded our expectations. We had the mid-range tasting menu with the sherry pairing and every bite was delicious. Our experience was enhanced by our server Carlos’ knowledgeable description of each course and each of the sherries. We look forward to coming back.More infoJaleo - DCPrice: Expensive• Spanish• Penn Quarter•4.7
- KKeithvipColumbus •26 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024We like exploring tapas restaurants since we don’t have one near us at home. My only concern was not seeing any listing under the “chef’s selection “ pre fixe menu. We still ordered it and enjoyed most of it, but we didn’t know everything we were served and had no idea what was coming next.More infoBoqueria - DupontPrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• Dupont Circle•4.6
