Mojo features an authentic line-up of traditional Cuban comforts like ropa vieja, empanadas, fried yuca, mojo chicken, and the quintessential Cuban sandwich. At our indoor/outdoor bar, guests will find an impressive array of rums designed both for sipping and for anchoring traditional cocktails all prepared against the backdrop of a regionally inspired soundtrack intentionally curated to accompany the shaking and stirring. Selections include Mojitos, Cuba Libres, Pina Coladas, and, of course, Daquiris, precisely the way Ernest Hemingway prescribed. Ordered two aviators for the three of us. ate one and took the other one home. Both seemed light on the Nueske’s bacon, they were good but seemed less good than previous visits. Our waitperson informed us that they were discontinuing the Weapons Check Ale. I hope they replace it with something other than an IPA. That st stuff is worse than drinking Coors…Wimpy. Or they could keep the Weapons Check👍 .

We were excited for our anniversary dinner here since we have been wanting to try this place out and have heard good things. We made a reservation stating that it was for an anniversary. Nobody from the restaurant acknowledged this, not even once during our time there. We ordered 2 appetizers and shared an entree. All of them were bland and lacked salt and flavor. Though he was nice, we were not impressed with our waitress. Needless to say we were disappointed with the dinner that was supposed to be for our special occasion. The thing we loved about the place was the outside seating. It was quiet and the ambiance was very good with the lights and fireplace going.

Casual but chic interior, friendly service, really good food with their own take on Sonoran cuisine. It’s loud when it gets full because of the modern acoustic - but it’s fun. Fantastic option before a concert at the Music Hall or event in the Convention Center, but don’t overlook it for just a nice bit easygoing dinner downtown any time. Ample parking on site - if there isn’t a huge public event on site.
