Hidden down a cute laneway in an old motor garage is one of the very best Italian restaurants in the city ... actually, one of the best places to eat! Their Gnocco (atteptiser) is a fluffy savoury starter that never fails to get my guests to say "oh ... wow". Great sharing food (or don't share) and excellent wines (mostly Italian). Pastas are unique, the mains amazing. I visit regularly. Not cheap but certainly not over the top.

My wife and I had lunch there yesterday. The staff were courteous and helpful albeit still learning there craft. The meals although not large but for the price very good. I had the pa naeng chicken curry while my wife han the roasted barramundi, Both were excellent. The only downside was the vegetables were barely warm or I would have given it 5 stars. We followed up with the white chocolate pear desert and flourless lemon, coconut and almond cake, both were sublime. We will definitely be back next time we visit Melbourne.
