The oysters were fresh and delicious, especially the Kumiai variety – a perfect start to the meal. The calamari was tasty but a bit on the undercooked side, the Caesar salad was fresh and crisp, a nice addition to our appetizers. For sides, the au gratin potatoes were rich and flavorful, but the spinach was a bit too salty for our taste. However, the highlight of the evening was definitely the porcini-rubbed bone-in ribeye with 15-year-aged balsamic. The steak was cooked to perfection, juicy and full of flavor – highly recommend this dish! Overall, the food was great, with just a couple of minor hiccups. It’s definitely a place I’d return to, especially for that amazing ribeye!More infoThe Capital Grille - Costa MesaPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Costa Mesa•4.8

The hostess was amazing, we were seated within 5 min of our rezo and near the Jazz musician. Our waiter was Brandon, amazing experience! We had spent Valentines 2024 WG at oyster bar. This evening rather than order off the menu we wanted to try the 4 course. I don’t have a lot of experience in fine dining and 4 courses with wine pairing. Brandon was very helpful with sharing how the menu would be served this evening. The Mrs she’s used to fine dining but for an island boy from Samoa it was a new experience for me. Amazing experience and for those who may have not experienced fine dining 4 course with wine pairing just ask the your wait person for help. I’m never afraid to ask if I do not know. The fork thing, the many utensils, the different glasses, etc 😂 Definitely will plan a dinner outing for the entire family, 12 total, this summer when I’m back in town. Salute and Respects to Brandon, and the entire WG team. The Jazz musician was 🔥🔥🔥More infoWater Grill - South Coast PlazaPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Costa Mesa•4.7

My husband ordered a double cut porkchop, and he said it was the best and most tender he's ever had. It was large enough for two. You can't beat the service you get there. Thank you for our special buttercake dessert and the 2 chocolate dipped strawberries 🍓 . We will be back.More infoMastro's Steakhouse - Costa MesaPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Costa Mesa•4.7
- JJilleOrange County •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoI made reservations. I chose this restaurant because none of my guests had eaten here before and to celebrate a friend's 91st birthday. for a friend. When I made the reservations I requested a table overlooking the nursery. There was no wait when we arrived. They accommodated us with a table I requested. The overall service was excellent. The waitress, Becca was pleasant, knowledgeable about the menu, and very attentive. She came back several times during our lunch to make sure everything was okay and to see if we needed anything. Everyone raved about the food. Three or us ordered the tuna sandwich and one ordered the burger. It was all excellent. Remembering we were there to celebrate a birthday, Becca brought out a complimentary dessert with a candle. The whole experience for me and my guests couldn't have been better. We will definitely be returning and bringing more friends.More infoFarmhouse at Rogers GardensPrice: Expensive• American• Corona del Mar•4.8
