Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Indio

This our 2nd experience here day after Valentine’s date w my wife as I didn’t want the huge restraurant feel but smaller more intimate and made reservations (recommended) and food was amazing, ambience and sunset beautiful, weather was perfect for outside patio dining too and the heaters warm the atmosphere. We loved it and there was love music beautifully played as well.

Sat outside by the lake. Lots of heaters to chase away the chill. Nicely curated set of menu items. Friendly service that focused on the patron.

I est here regularly and really enjoy it. I expected it to be super crowded and a little less pleasant than usual for Valentine’s Day - I was pleasantly surprised; we were seated very quickly, the service was excellent, the food appeared very quickly and most importantly, I did not feel rushed. Much appreciated.

We had an early dinner at Jackslope Ranch. The food and service were both excellent. Draft Modello beer was cold and frosty. Nice! The waiter let us leisurely visit and enjoy the brew. No rushing us to order. The food was delicious. One person had a rack of baby back ribs. The meal was s huge serving with delicious ranch beans, coleslaw, and more delicious juicy ribs than he could eat. Another had ribs and brisket. Both juicy and delicious. Other BBQ places serve ribs that are dried out and tough. Not these! Both were tender, juicy and with just the right amount of BBQ sauce. I had the Rodeo Burger. Huge! Couldn’t begin to eat it all. Served topped with bacon, Ortega chili, and crispy fried mini onion rings. Along with sweet potato fries. All the food was delicious! We had a leisurely two hour plus dinner and a lovely evening visiting with friends. The noise level was very low which I particularly enjoyed! Jackalope Ranch is back with all the good things the previous owners had plus new additions. It was too cold to sit outside but I know what gorgeous grounds they have and can hardly wait to have dinner in their huge backyard when it warms up a little. It is the ranch/western Gem of Coachella Valley. You must try it!

Lovely place with a great staff and a wonderful menu with great food. The water fall is a bit loud and splashy, but no big deal. I had the Dungeness crab pasta rich and spicy, delicious. My wife had the scallops and she loved them. Our dinner guest had the short ribs and his wife had the wedge salad all delicious. There wine by the glass a good choices. Overall a great and lovely place.
