Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Welwyn Garden City

I took a friend with me who had never eaten at Lussmanns. To say she was delighted would be the understatement of the year! She chose the Smoked Haddock & free range poached egg and said it was quite the best she had ever tasted. She was equally pleased with her dessert, which was which was the Bramley apple crumble with Barnet ice cream, hazelnuts, and rosemary. I chose the chickpea and spice tomato hotpot and the sticky date and ginger pudding, whose sauce was exquisite. My friend is going to make sure her son takes her there as soon as possible.

Our favourite Italian restaurant. Visited for a valentine lunch, and had the whole place to ourselves. Amazing all round as always. Crab starter, delicious. Chicken Milanese, delicious. Strawberry mousse, amazing - could have eaten several portions it was that good. Wife loved her lamb and soup. Service is exceptional, Theo is the perfect host. We will return, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are coming up and The Gables is the perfect restaurant to celebrate.

My wife and I went to Lavish for Valentine’s Day evening meal . It was our first visit to the restaurant. The service was Excellent! Yanik the gentleman who looked after us was very welcoming , friendly and a gentleman. We were given plenty of time to select our drinks and food. The food roast lamb was delicious and the portions were Generous. The rest of the menu looked equally inviting and we will certainly visit the restaurant again to try other dishes on the menu. All other staff were very friendly and were always smiling. The restaurant had made a great effort in decorating the place for Valentine’s Day. What a fantastic beautiful restaurant, welcomed so nicely and an amazing selection, with advice from the waiter to help me pick my main. We had lamb & Humous starter with chicken wings, then combo kebabs and mince chicken wrap drenched in a sauce. Starters came out with Turkish bread and dips, and boy my Cosmo cocktail I had when arrived was 10/10 - thank you

Always a good dining experience at Roys. It's usually quiet enough so you can enjoy a conversation without having to raise your voice. Food is of a high quality with good options for everyone. Desserts are great too and service is polite and reasonably quick. Highly recomendded.
