Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Mesquite

Fantastic experience overall. Food was exquisite, thoughtful and well composed. Truly couldn’t have asked for a better meal. Drink selection didn’t feel as up to par as the food menu. Basic options. Bathroom is up an entire flight of winding stairs which is fine, but be cautious in heels. They were out of toilet paper, so that felt overlooked. Bar with live music ramped up toward the end of our dinner but wasn’t overly loud and soundly lively as we were exiting.

Wonderful restaurant and we had a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious, with a perfect blend of flavors that left me wanting more. The staff was incredibly accommodating, ensuring that all our needs were met with a smile. Their customer service was top-notch—friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Thank you for making this evening an amazing one for us. When I initially booked my reservation I didn’t know if we had to reserve a table upstairs as it wasn’t an option for me. We showed up and thought we were going to be seated upstairs, but was informed at the front desk that we had patio seating. I was somewhat disappointed. As we sat in the bar area dispirited, we were approached by the manager. I believe he was. Long story short, he went above and beyond to ensure that we had upstairs seating and it all turned out to be an unforgettable experience for us. Thank you kind sir! Your work did not go unnoticed. Sorry I didn’t catch your name, but we really appreciate what you did. We will always dine here again whenever we are back in Dallas. I’ll remember to reserve my table upstairs next time. 😊

We’d heard from a few friends how great MHB is, finally tried it last night. We were blown away by the food and drinks! The rice cake appetizer was savory and interesting with the contrast from the lettuce. Octopus app had some of the most tender octopus we’ve experienced, the prep also gave it a wonderful flavor. For entrees we had the short rib- super tasty, tender, and the potato crusted halibut. The lemongrass sauce with the halibut was so good we were contemplating licking the serving dish! My wife proclaimed her lemon drop the best she’d ever had except for when she makes them herself, and my martini with Roku Gin was great. We’ll be back!

Dolce Riviera was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the staff was very professional, particularly the manager and waiter. The arancini antipasti was topped with fresh, seasoned arugula, doubling as appetizer and palate cleanser. For entree, I had the gnocchi with salmon; creamy and perfectly cooked, it was the real-deal of northern Italian dishes. Dolce is definitely the type of place you can take that special someone for a luxury experience. If you're looking for the next Italian fine-dining experience, Dolce is the place for you.
