- MMorganPortland / Oregon •27 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoAlways such a treat. This is Portland's best French restaurant, hands down. Dishes are made with flair, impeccable technique, and always delicious farm to table cooking. That said we did think the vegetarian tasting menu was the stronger of the two; several of the protein dishes were a little underwhelming (e.g. beef carpaccio). We opted to forgo the optional sixth course of each menu; portions are very generous, you will not leave hungry... Btw, don't skimp on the wine pairings! The reserve pairing is a splurge but well worth it. And perhaps best of all, the flawless service and pacing (hat tip: Chris). Just a delightful meal, start to finish. Thank you.More infoLe PigeonPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Southeast Portland•4.8

- RRuthvipCoastal North Carolina •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoArden never disappoints. This little gem of a spot offers seasonal cuisine, French inspired, but completely accessible. Nicholas is AMAZING (he will provide you with some truly amazing wine pairings) and the chef's combinations are exquisitely balanced, creative, and palette pleasing. See the chef expediting at the small counter and knowing that everything will be perfect is an experience not often found at this price point. This is a place where we are made to feel valued and welcomed, and the food leaves you contented and excited for the next culinary journey. I cannot say enough good things about Arden.More infoArdenPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Northwest Portland•4.8
