Best Italian Restaurants in Monk Fryston

First time visit and will certainly come back. Excellent service from the moment I walked through the door- lovely touches like tea in a proper teapot, food delivered to the table with style, helping me on with my coat as we were leaving and several members of staff thanking us for our visit. My son’s Chicken Schnitzel was wonderful ( his words), my fish and chips a little less so but still enjoyable. When I mentioned to the waiter that I hadn’t really enjoyed the fish, the Maitre d’ came straight to see us and apologised - there was no need it wasn’t a complaint. Do visit here it is a grown up restaurant rather than a bar that serves food and they genuinely want you to enjoy your visit.

As always the food was amazing. Only constructive criticism is that the Panna Cotta has changed to strawberry Flavour on a Prosecco jelly base, the original version is much nicer. This doesn’t mean it was bad, it was just disappointing. However, overall the food was delicious.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch with family at Salutes. The staff were fabulous as always. Lunch was really tasty with great Yorkshire puds, cauliflower cheese, loads of veg and plenty of gravy. It was really busy and a little bit too noisy, but it's great to see local restaurants doing well so I'll take that. Highly recommend for Sunday lunch

Highly recommended. Wonderful experience from start to finish from the fantastic attentive staff to the amazing food. Party of 6 for my wife's birthday and can not thank you enough for helping make her day special. This was our 3rd visit and we'll certainly be back for more. Personally, tried something different on every occasion and have never been disappointed.
