- JJeanneSan Diego •10 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoDrove in from Temecula—short beautiful drive through the mountains. Immediately found parking nearby across the street from Mille Fleurs. The ambience is like no other; old school wood, decor and menu with something for everyone. Love that the menu had favorites that were 40 years old. Had the almond crusted seabass that was so tender. The beet salad was perfect—don’t forget to eat the accompanying horseradish dressing. Don’t skip the bread and butter. Wonderful gem in Rancho Santa Fe.More infoMille FleursPrice: Very Expensive• French American• Rancho Santa Fe•4.8
- JJohnLos Angeles •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe came to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our waiter, Ricky, was attentive and informative, and let us dine at our own pace. We ordered the Brie "starter", two non-alcoholic drinks, the Atlantic Salmon, and the Short Ribs, with carrot cake for dessert [on the house for our anniversary] . Definitely get the all of the above. The presentation was great, the main courses were hot, and cooked just just right. And they have the best popovers. We have dined there several times before, and will be going back again, and will ask for Ricky to be our waiter. Maybe next time for Date-Night Tuesday!More infoVintana Wine & DinePrice: Expensive• American• Escondido•4.5
- JJanelleVIPSan Diego •10 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoOnly 5 of 6 of us ended up making it, & had Gracie as our waitress who was excellent. The Restsurant (indoors) was not very busy (it was a Tuesday evening) …. Yet the lights were dimmed twice & we’re not sure why. Once I can understand but the 2nd time we really felt possibly we were being told it was time to go (it was only getting on 7pm) Other than that, the ambience was great~ temperature great. Food great, Altho it was mentioned a couple of times that it does seem more expensive than places we also go to in Carlsbad. 1/2 this group is from Carlsbad and 1/2 Lake San Marcos. Most had desserts too for the first time ever & raved about them. All had wine. Kudos for Gracie putting up with us!More infoBrickmans Restaurant & Bar (formerly The Grill)Price: Moderate• American• San Marcos•4.5
