Best Contemporary British Restaurants in Canford Magna

We weren’t asked if we could get our coats hung up. We waited ages to place our order. We couldn’t change menu to have appetisers from a la carte instead of starters from the xmas menu. We were overcharged by £100!

Nice reception, nice decor and atmosphere. Drinks were too expensive and the food was fairly expensive but good. Service was generally very good. We would return, which probably says all you need to know. £144 for 2

Had the afternoon tea as a birthday treat. Fantastic service, very quick with the food and had refills of our hot drinks. The afternoon tea is quite a spectacle! Massive amount of food (we had to take some away in a box!) but all very tasty. We even had a bonus birthday choux bun with chocolate sauce at the end! Only slight downside was the festive Battenberg was a bit strange being bright green and red.

Excellent quality lobster and crab dishes. Market price for both a little steep but excellent quality and quantity . We were there on a Monday in November so extremely quiet. Service was very attentive and good.

Pleasantly surprised at the peaceful atmosphere. We could enjoy this good meal and hear each other speak, such an unusual feature as you grow older. I hear the breakfast is very good too!
