- KKevinVIPKent •13 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoUsual excellent service from Sona and excellent food. This place is a real local gem in my opinion. My dog Ben and I regularly walk the nine mile return distance from Sellindge to have lunch here with a friend. Lovely place. Today tried one of their own pies (beef ) with cabbage and creamed potatoes followed by home made crumble and ice cream and a coffee. Also had a couple of beers. Excellent value 👍 KevinMore infoFive Bells InnPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Monks Horton•4.6
- RRachVIPKent •2 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoStaff were very friendly and lovely. The food took a very very long time to arrive - there were only a few tables in the restaurant as a Monday morning. We had no starters just main and dessert and we were there from 1.30-4.30. We were happy to chat but strange how long it took. Food was very good and we enjoyed it. Staff kindly did a birthday Happy Birthday plate for our friend. Of course as with all restaurants now it felt expensive. 3 people and with voluntary tip was £180 (this included one glass of wine and 5 pints) With these kind of prices expectations are high. It was good but not exceptional as price would suggest.More infoThe Kings ArmsPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Elham•4.7
- IIanKent •1 review4.0Dined 6 days agoExcellent food and service, highly recommend. However a service charge discrepancy between menu- which stated 10% would be levied on tables if 6 or more (we were a table of 6)- and bill which stated 12.5%, caused some confusion. This was quickly resolved by staff, but service charges on menu and bill need to be updated to agree the same rate. This issue did not spoil the evening which was great. For fans of Jeremy Clarkson they serve his ale and cider, but there are plenty of alternatives for those who feel the opposite…Their Argentinian Merlot at the lower cost end of their wine list is superb. Food, ambience and service was spot on. We would certainly go again.More infoThe Duck - CanterburyPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Canterbury•4.6
