Best Brunch Restaurants in Madison Heights

I love this place!!! Love the food, the ambiance, the servers, the hostesses, the bartender, the buzzer….everyone is fantastic. I don’t know how they found so many great people to work here….hoping it’s a great place to work, and that’s why they’re all so congenial. Get your drink and browse the vast offering of unique greeting cards. That’s a must. Mushroom soup!!’n

Marvin is an amazing server, he is personable, his timing is impeccable, and you can never go wrong with his recommendations. Our appetizers and entrees were flawless and I highly recommended the mushroom ravioli. The only suggestion we have for improvement is the cocktail list. The bartenders were both very friendly, they did a great job executing the cocktails on their list, but the cocktail list is vodka heavy and seems straight out of the late nineties early 2000s. The art of cocktails has involved past mules and 15 flavors of vodka “martinis” and their list would benefit from expanding or at least having the ingredients to cover classics from the IBA list.

Our servers, (Mercedes and Kyle) did an outstanding job and were very attentive. The food and drinks were delicious. The floors and carpeting could use a cleaning. No soap was available in the men's restroom. (But there was hand sanitizer at the market bar). Overall, I would go back.

The food quality has really gone downhill over the years. Ordered the macademia nut chicken with asparagus. Chicken was overdone and rubbery, and asparagus looked anemic and limp.The manager addressed the asparagus without having to make a request, which was the highlight of our dining experience. Our waitress was polite and attentive, but forgetful of requests. It's a shame because this restaurant holds a significant place for my wife and I; it's where I proposed. We enjoyed the food and ambiance in the past, but now it's crowded, too brightly lit, and less intimate for any chance of a romantic dinner. In the over 11 years since we've been married, this is only the fifth time we've eaten here, and I do not know that we'll ever come back given the superior quality of food that's available in the area.

Pinky’s Rooftop is a cute spot with the girls. They’re good if you’re grabbing drinks or dinner. But they don’t have a variety of brunch items if you’re vegetarian. I had the nachos and was slightly disappointed.
