At The Hinds Head in the charming village of Norton-in-Hales, Newcastle-under-Lyme, British cuisine is celebrated with a heartfelt homage to tradition and quality. This community-owned gem offers a delightful array of British classics, from "proper comfort food" like cheese and onion pie to "the best pub meal" featuring a pie where "the meat fell apart" and the pastry was "thick and just perfect." Patrons rave about the "fantastic Sunday roast" and the freshly made pies that set high standards for pub fare. Coupled with "friendly and welcoming staff" and a cozy setting, The Hinds Head stands out as a pinnacle of British dining, making every meal a memorable experience. Whether it's the "crispy roast potatoes" or the "wonderfully creamy cauli," each dish is a testament to the pub's commitment to quality and authenticity in British cuisine.

We went for a friend's birthday. We were able to chat without being rushed. One friend is coeliac and the manager came to ensure her order was done safely, double checking everything very professionally. A lovely evening, great food and a good choice of non alcoholic drinks.

Fabulous lunch at Lunar today! Or first visit, but we'll definitely be back. We went for the 2 course lunch deal which is great value, but the food was so good that we ordered sides and desserts. The service was helpful and friendly throughout and they did a great job with my mocktail and our half shot lattes (not many places get that right!). Thank you!

Centrally located in Chester with multi story parking locally. Very smartly presented resaurant. Attentive staff in a relaxed atmosphere. All the courses were very well presented. The Lunch menu was resonably priced . Not the cheapest restaurant to dine at but well worth a visit if you like fine dining.
