Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Quogue

We came here for our birthdays and we were incredibly blown away by the service and the food. We had shrimp and lobster wontons and the miso mustard was 10/10. Then for entree we had the petite filet and waygu hanger, both outstanding. Sides were whipped potatoes and creamed spinach. I would highly recommend this place the food was just amazing.

We have eaten here at least 5 times. We have never had a bad meal. Awesome food, service, and atmosphere.

Trumpets on the Bay is a wonderful dining establishment, with an amazing location and decor. The food and drinks are always prepared with care, tastes delicious and presented by experienced and professional servers (Walter was wonderful). We highly recommend this restaurant. My wife and I had an excellent meal last night at The Halston. Started with some wine from a fairly extensive but reasonably priced beverage list and proceeded to order a Tuna Sashimi appetizer followed by 2 entrees that we shared which were the prime sirloin steak and the Nova Scotia salmon. The steak came to the table sliced into about 15 slices and cooked perfect to medium rare. The salmon was broiled and came with some roasted corn. We ordered some creamed spinach as well and shared a brownie for dessert. Our server Chris was attentive but not bothersome and all in all, a great meal. We will return for another meal in the near future.

Three staff is EXCELLENT!!! Everyone from the hostess, to the runners to the waiter, all fantastic! Food was VERY VERY good, great flavors. Some portions were good size, others need to be a little larger, especially based on price. Dessert, chocolate cake was Great. The alcoholic drinks are WAY TOO OVERPRICED. Would love to have had a second drink, not easy to expensive and not enough alcohol in the mixed drinks.
