Best Steak Restaurants in Streeterville

Jack was an amazing server - warm, friendly, responsive and attentive! Food was amazing - best sushi I’ve had in quite a while, drinks were generous pours and entrees were delicious. This Buckeye was impressed with the big city cuisine at Evie!

I can't say enough good things about our experience at Joe's! We went there expecting a very special dinner and celebration for our daughter's 21st birthday and it did not disappoint. I'd especially like to point out our service, as service can make or break an experience. Our server was EXCELLENT. He was so attentive, knowledgeable, kind and went out of his way to make sure our daughter felt celebrated. Our daughter also has Celiac Disease, and he was so in step with what she could/could not have even double checking with the kitchen on the squash casserole--which it turned out she could have and was one of the food winners of the night! Joe's is a special restaurant with very high prices, yet when the service and quality of the food were like they were last night, it was priceless to us! Wish I could remember the name of our waiter, as I'd like to thank him again for making our night memorable.

The restaurant was crowded. Yet the noise level was not overpowering. The greeters at the check-in were friendly. Our server, Peter Axelsen was awesome!!! He recommended a mocktail that was the best drink ever. We appreciated the restaurant managers stopping by our table to check on us twice. The food was superb.

We have been coming to this restaurant for years and the food, drinks, and service are always the best. This time, we brought a couple that had never been to a Capital Grille before. Our server, Devon, went out of his way to make it a really special experience for them. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back.

There are steak houses, and then there are steak houses. Steak 48 in Chicago competes with some of the best in the business and they stand out. Service is about the little touches, the warm greeting on the way in, the convenient location of coat check, and the smile on the staff's faces. This isn't your usual steakhouse with dim lighting, sad mood music, and stale air. This place pops with energy and style. The level of service is 5 star and the food is just amazing. We started with the Chef's Cut Hanging Bacon and this was the bomb. I twas my 3rd time here and that bacon is the best dish there. It's got the right level of smoke, heat, and honey on a thick cut of pork belly. The BLT wedge salad is a classic by itself The Prime NY Strip Large was just so juicy and scrumptious. We had a medium rare cut that just sizzled. Speaking of sizzle, the steak is served on a hot plate where the sides will sizzle when placed onto the plate. We go the Shells and Cheese and the Corn Brulee which is creamed corn with a Brulee top. The high white glove service was consistent to the last moment we were there. We even had a followup call to see how things were a day after the meal. This is my new go to in Chicago.
