Best Italian Restaurants in Sylvan Park & Sylvan Heights

Love this place! I’ve come here 2 times and have had Matt serve me. He’s awesome and always checked up on me, making sure I was taken care of and had everything I needed. Food is amazing, definitely recommend the Shrimp Scampi and Goat cheese pizza for apps. Dinner I loved the Pork Chop, but I also really liked the chicken rigatoni/red sauce. Definitely recommend coming here for a date night or more of a friend meet as well. The ambience is perfect, it’s not too bright but the decor is very comforting too.

We had a great meal at Pelato. The vibe was definitely a New York state of mind and the food rivaled many of the great NYC pasta houses. Our waitress was outstanding explaining the menu and offering suggestions. On Sunday's they make Sunday sauce and next time I go on a Sunday I will definitely order it for the table. Since this was our first time, we opted to each order a pasta dish to try and all were delicious. The meatballs and arancini were equally great. The wine list was little limited but what they offered was fairly priced - just remember your id as they will ask everyone at the table to prove they are old enough to legally imbibe. Make your reservations now and you will thank me later!

So many restaurants are cheapening out on ingredients, but not here, I’m happy to report! I was so pleasantly surprised with the food and service. The ingredients are so fresh, the dishes were so balanced. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Nashville in a long time! Chef’s kiss!💋

Our server, Michael, was just awesome. Next time we come to dine with you, I think we will request him. The food was outstanding! We’ve always loved Sinatra for the ambience and the music, but in the past, the food was like a three out of five. However, today, I must say, the food was absolutely a 10 out of 10 for us. Keep up the good work, and outstanding service and food. We plan to return soon.

Service, atmosphere, cocktails, food - all of it was amazing! Highly recommend the old fashioned, margarita pizza, lobster pasta, short rib and chicken marsala! Amazing!
