- AAustinPinehurst •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoAshten’s is always a favorite of mine and of course Valentine’s Day was another great experience. From the beautiful atmosphere and decor to the amazing service. Fresh, local ingredients and great selection of cocktails and wine. Highly recommend getting an appetizer, entree, and you certainly can’t skip dessert. Zarah, the pastry chef is a true magician. Overall 10/10 experience and I’ll surely be back soon!More infoAshten'sPrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• Southern Pines•4.8
- JJasonWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe decided to go with a couple of friends for Valentine’s Day dinner and I was pleasantly surprised when they put our party in the Ross Room that was just off the main dining room. It wasn’t too loud in the selections on the menu were great and very tasty. The molten lava cake for dessert was phenomenal. Overall great experience and highly recommend going if you haven’t.More infoPine Crest Inn RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Southern Pines•4.5
- RRickPinehurst •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe food was exceptional. Our server, McKenzie was extremely personable and knowledgeable. I tried the Elk steak. It was cooked to perfection. My wife enjoyed the salmon. We expected it to be busy since it was Valentines Day. I was excited and rather lucky that I was able to get reservations a week out. The only negative issue that we experienced was our table location. We were placed right by the hostess booth which was also located extremely close to the front door and to the bar patrons. The bar crowd was rather loud and the overflow of patrons waiting for tables completely engulfed our table location. We found it difficult to enjoy our romantic evening with people standing right beside our table, with their backsides almost touching our plates!! lol. This presented an awkward feeling for us. We wanted to enjoy another glass of wine, but felt somewhat pressured to exit, due to this. Not quite the romantic setting I was looking for. Next time i will ensure that we have secured a table far away from the front door. Please note that we also understand that this day is pretty hectic in the restaurant business.More infoElliotts on LindenPrice: Expensive• American• Southern Pines•4.8
- WWendyPhoenix / Arizona •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe eat out often and are very often unimpressed. Southern Prime Steakhouse was the exception. The ambiance was impressive, the service was excellent and the food was beyond delicious. It was a limited menu that at first glance I thought would be an issue for this picky eater, but from the first bite of the bread and special butter all those thoughts disappeared. My cocktail, an espresso martini was the perfect start. The creme brulee was the perfect ending. My husband and I could not have been happier.More infoSouthern Prime SteakhousePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Southern Pines•4.6
