Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Lighthouse Point

Beautiful set up for Valentine’s Day, server was great and knowledgeable. Food couldn’t have been better ! My girlfriend ordered The Branzino and a side of fettuccine Alfredo and the combination was amazing! I ordered the Rigatoni Alla Vodka and added the crab cake and i devoured it ! So delicious. Our little one ordered the Fettuccine Bolognese and it was a HUGE dish. Could have fed two people but tasted great !! We ordered the famous strawberry shortcake and needless to say, it didn’t stand a chance, absolutely phenomenal.

My boyfriend and I went to Louie Bossi for Valentine’s Day weekend, and it was a wonderful experience. We had an 8:15 pm reservation, and although the place was buzzing with people, we were seated right away. The food was outstanding, and the service was impeccable. I had the risotto, which was delicious and definitely worth trying, while my boyfriend went with the steak and absolutely loved it. For dessert, we had the Tiramisu, and it was absolutely delicious. We were so impressed with everything that my boyfriend suggested we return next weekend to try the cheesecake! Highly recommend!

Food was excellent. Service was good just a little bit quick but it was Valentine’s Day. The place was packed and they still did a great job so that says a lot I would highly recommend it. 

This was our first time dining at Delucas. We made dinner reservations well in advance, for Valentines Day. And we could not have been more pleased with our choice. The food was delicious. The service (with Jimmy) was seamless and the atmosphere and live music (the singer was beautiful to listen to) were perfect. It was such a romantic evening. We will be sure to return.

This beautiful little Italian restaurant was a lucky choice for us. We were greeted right away by a very personable waiter, and throughout our meal no service was overlooked or tardy. My friend and I both ordered the salmon with a lemon and caper sauce, the beet salad and a glass of their house Cabernet. The beet salad was a beautiful presentation of thinly sliced beat slices encircling a large plate and in the middle a little mound of arugula with some walnuts, sweet sections of orange, some dollops of Burrata cheese and the most delightful vinaigrette. After enjoying our salad, some bread from the bread basket, and a few sips of our Cabernet, the salmon arrived. The accompaniments were delicious, but the star of the show was the salmon. I believe it was poached, and with the lemon caper sauce was the most tender and flavorful salmon I've ever had! The portion size was very generous, and we both had a hard time finishing it. We were pressed for time so we didn't have an opportunity to select from their scrumptious dessert cart.  On the way home my friend and I couldn't stop talking about what a great dinner we had! So I would encourage you that if you are looking for a truly wonderful dining experience, that you definitely consider La Perla restaurant.
