Best Comfort Food Restaurants in New Toronto

We tried the chimi chicken sandwich for the first time and it was pretty including the chicken, also the bun was falling apart, the fries had that old feeling too. One of the best chicken wings in toronto on point as always! Drinks were good as usual. The service was amazing. It’s our go to spot. We’ll be back

We enjoyed the food & our server did her best but they seemed short staffed or hadn’t planned for staff. We were waiting 7 minutes at the door with a reservation ( only 1 person seating) And we waited for drinks - server was spread train with too many tables.

Came to Nuna to celebrate a friend's birthday and we had a fantastic time. We opted for the Winterlicious menu and chose two of the apps, plus an app from the main menu, as well as the mushroom potato gnocchi and two desserts. The food was truly spectacular - exceptionally seasoned and flavoured, and it was great to be able to taste Chef Sergio Nazario's take on Peruvian cuisine. The hospitality was very thoughtful- Nuna made sure to include a small placard for the birthday guest, as well as a candle on our dessert. With great music and ambiance, Nuna has captured our hearts. Will definitely be returning!

Incredible! From start to finish, we loved our meal! We had a dozen fresh and meaty oysters, a few cocktails, and for dinner I had the trumpet mushroom dish, and my partner had the pork collar. We loved the meal so much that we got both desserts! We will be back soon!

My sister and I chose the Winterlicious menu. The food choices were very good and unlike many of the Winterlicious restaurants, the offerings were quite unique and tasty, not at all cheap or lesser quality. We like to dine here and would not hesitate to go back. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly, and even though busy, the noise level was not loud.
