- DDanielSan Francisco Bay Area •10 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoGoing out to dinner on a holiday like Valentine’s Day is difficult. Usually waitstaff is overworked and exhausted. Black Rock is typically busy so I figured it would be slammed. It was, and all the same everyone was having a great time. Our waitress was very nice and talked to us throughout the night. The food was delicious as always. They were very accommodating and communicative.More infoBlack Rock SteakhousePrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Springfield•4.5

My strip steak was perfectly charred, tender, with an excellent sauce. The service too was particularly warm and inviting. P.S. I find the credit card requirement for reservations (particularly the stiff amounts) off-putting, though I always call to cancel when necessaryMore infoJessica's at Swift HousePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Middlebury•4.9
- JJoelGreater Boston •5 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 29, 2025A really spectacular meal! My wife and I started with the Vermont Artisan Cheese Tasting. The cheeses and the "embellishments" were almost a meal onto themselves. We then split the 14 ounce Ribeye. Also delicious! The cocktails were on par. I enjoyed the Corpse Reviver #2 and my wife enjoyed the vodka Collins. Ashley was a great waitstaff! Her suggestions worked out perfectly. We are light eaters but splitting those 2 dishes was quite filling. The Red Rooster stands on its own as a restaurant and isn't just a "hotel restaurant". We were staying at the Woodstock Inn so a bonus not having to go outside for dinner!More infoRed Rooster at The Woodstock Inn and ResortPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Woodstock•4.6
