- WwalterSan Francisco Bay Area •6 reviews5.0Dined todayadequate number of choices for starter and main courses. Service was good. The environment is lovely -- Julia Morgan architecture building, high ceilings, noise was well controlled even though the dining room was full.More infoJulia's RestaurantPrice: Expensive• French• Berkeley•4.7

- KKaterSan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had not been to La Fontaine for 6+ months, so were reminded how excellent this restaurant is. Food was delicious and portioned well since we were able to split the daily special appetizer with buratta, prosciutto, tomato and toast. Then each had a main. My wife enjoined the sole involtini with asparagus rolled inside the fish and a buttery caper sauce. I loved the spicy pasta with roasted eggplant. A glass of wine each topped off an enjoyable meal. Wait staff are incredible, friendly and knowledgeable.More infoLa Fontaine - Walnut CreekPrice: Moderate• Italian• Walnut Creek•4.5

- MMackenzieSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 29, 2024We had a wonderful experience enjoying holiday tea at the Claremont Hotel. It is a pricey treat, but we really enjoyed every minute. The rainy day outside made the vibe even more cozy and comfortable. Food was lovely and enjoyable and varied. Tea was really magical! Hope to do again someday.More infoClaremont Lobby BarPrice: Very Expensive• American• Berkeley•4.7
