Great food and service / lovely decor. We were impressed

We had a lovely afternoon tea at the Orchid Room. The staff were very attentive and looked after us well with many tea pot refills! The food was delicious with a varied selection of sandwiches and beautiful cakes. Definitely a special treat in fabulous surroundings.

The staff were amazing, friendly, attentive and very polite and pleasant. Overall we had a great afternoon. The only thing I would like to mention is that the roast lamb was very tough and rubbery on the day. Most of us actually left the meat as it was hard to chew.

Food was lovely and service generally good until our bill arrived which contained beers on it that weren't ours. It was rectified quickly and apologies accepted.
