A relaxed environment but an upmarket one too. Brilliant all round and worth every penny. We were just a table of 3, but can tell had it would also be great for bigger parties and special events. Dog friendly in the bar area too which was great for us. Thank you Greyhound team!More infoThe Greyhound BeaconsfieldPrice: Expensive• British• Beaconsfield•4.9

Have been to the chequers several times and this was the best meal I’ve ever had there. I had mussels for a starter - a huge portion and went for the Cornish Market fish for my main. It was sea bass with kale and samphire and the most delicious crunchy roast potatoes. It was in a lemon/cream sauce. It was amazing. Passion fruit cheesecake to finish. Also very good. Staff were very attentive. The front of house staff are a credit to the establishment. Great place and to see the pub bar area so busy with locals was fantastic when you see so many pubs closing down. Thoroughly recommend.More infoThe Chequers InnPrice: Moderate• Contemporary British• Stokenchurch•4.8

Vegetarian and fish focus, but has vegan, chicken and lamb too but don’t expect to order much you have heard of before if you are heathen like me !! But every item was unexpected but delicious- portions small to medium so at 4 dishes per couple for main and we shared 2 starters and it was £75 with a beer so not silly but maybe £10-£20 more than an average Indian but this isn’t average! Weakness is it is in a housing estate in little chalfont in a parade of 3-4 shops and with very limited parking out front or at the back so may have to park 100 yards away!More infoThe KokumPrice: Expensive• Indian• Amersham•4.7

Family had a wonderful time and the kids menu was really good value with good portion sizes for 10 year olds. Quiet on a Tuesday as expected, but that only meant the food came quicker which was nice, I was spoilt for choice with excellent pies, but went for the beef short rib which was excellent. Everyone was happy and would happily return.More infoElephant And Castle Amersham Classic InnsPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Amersham•4.2
