- AAnnvipChicago / Illinois •30 reviews5.0Dined todayWe had a really great time at Carmine's, celebrating our son's 25th birthday. Our server, John, was great, outgoing and had a great personality. All other staff were exceptionally friendly and service oriented. Food was great, portions are enormous! My only ding to the evening and suggestion to the management team is turn the music down! We felt like we were in a disco with the continual 70s/80s disco music. The music selection would not be to everyone's liking, and the volume was off the charts loud. I wanted to request that the music be turned down but didn't want to appear to be an old cranky pants. And a more "general" music repetoire would be a good idea because not everyone will care for thumping disco music all night long.More infoCarmine's RosemontPrice: Expensive• Italian• Rosemont•4.6

We love the patio when available. On our recent visit we needed to retrieve our car since the valet was serving two restaurants and overwelled.More infoCafe TouchePrice: Moderate• Bistro• Edison Park•4.8
- AAlanChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoI’ve been a fan of this place for years and love celebrating special occasions here. The food, service, and overall experience are usually fantastic and a good value. However, after today’s visit, I recommend reconsidering if you plan to dine here with a larger group. We were a party of eight, and the seating was extremely tight—not just at our table but in how closely spaced the tables are from one another. It was uncomfortable having to constantly shift chairs or stand up to let other guests pass. While everything else was top-notch, the cramped seating definitely detracted from the experience. I expected more thoughtfulness in accommodating larger groups for such an upscale restaurant. That said, if you’re dining solo, as a couple, or with a small party, you’ll likely have a fantastic time. I hope Hugo’s reconsiders their seating for larger groups because today could have easily gone from simply a good experience to a truly excellent one.More infoHugo's Frog Bar & Chop House - Des PlainesPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Des Plaines•4.8
- BBarryChicago / Illinois •19 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe eat here for special occasions, and have enjoyed our meals every time. We started with the jumbo crab claws which were fabulous, then moved to our main course. I had the traditional Turkey dinner, with stuffing, rice and mashed potatoes. The turkey was so moist, my knife just slid through it without any effort. My family had fish, which was good, but not as good as my meal. Pumpkin cheesecake was for dessert. It was the perfect end to a perfect meal.More infoTruluck's - Ocean's Finest Seafood & Crab - RosemontPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Rosemont•4.7
