- NNancyvipNew York City •8 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe decided to not cook this Thanksgiving and booked the Bad Roman - it was fabulous. We were greeted at the entrance by a super friendly and efficient host and hostess. Some of our party had the turkey which was better than mine for sure! . The rest of us had sole which was delicious! And the best Cesar salad in NYC. The wines were amazing and good value - recommended by their Sommelier Roosevelt. Gregory the bartender kicked the night off with brilliant cocktails and a nice pour of champagne! All in all a wonderful Thanksgiving feast. All in all well run, friendly service and delicious food.More infoBad RomanPrice: Expensive• Italian• Upper West Side•4.5
- JJohn-CharlesNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe LOVED our dinner last night, Thanksgiving. The food was great, the service terrific (didn't get her name, but a swell Latina was our server). And we had a New York experience. A middle aged couple was celebrating her birthday so they had a chocolate cake. They only wanted a slice or two, so they gave it to the mother & son from Santa Fe next to us. They had to rush to a show, so they gave it to us. We only wanted a slide, too, so we shared it with a young lady and grandmother (who was having a birthday with sherbet and a candle!). So the cake pleased FOUR tables at your restaurant! This has happened to us several times now, usually in NYC, but also in Florence and Rome! Thanks for a great evening. - DDanielNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoMy wife and I had a wonderful time at Sempre Oggi on Thanksgiving. Started with an Oggi Martini at the bar before dining on the Thanksgiving prix fixe ($85/pp). All of our courses were delicious (chestnut papardelle to start and porchetta main) and the wine list was right up our alley--settled on a beautiful Frapatto that suited our meal perfectly. Need that cranberry relish recipe! Really must say: both the bar and restaurant are beautiful. The service was exceptional and friendly at every point of our experience. Would love to visit again to try the regular menu and take advantage of the extensive list of amari. Thanks for having us!More infoSempre OggiPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Upper West Side•4.6

We had the Caesar Salad, Rigatoni Alla Vodka, Fettuccine Bolognese, A Lot of pepperoni Pizza and chocolate mousse for dessert. The hostess made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and the attentive service continued throughout the evening. I spoke with the manager, who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, ensuring we had everything we needed for a great experience. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for our gathering. I highly recommend Carmine's on 44th for its fantastic food and outstanding service!More infoCarmine's - 44th Street - NYCPrice: Moderate• Italian• Theater District•4.6
