Best Historic Restaurants in Cabbagetown

We live about an hour outside of the city and drive in to eat Agave every few months. My boyfriend loves the crawfish pasta and I usually have either red pepper salmon or scallops. We've never had a bad experience here. We love everything about Agave, minus the traffic for us to get there.

Brandon was an excellent server. He was training another server and his attention to both ensuring a quality customer experience as well as an effective employee training was apparent. The salmon was fantastic, and the spinach + artichoke dip was a great start. If you’re around during the holidays, ask about the off menu egg nog cocktail!

I haven’t dined at a Trader Vic’s in ages. It was better than I remembered. The Mai Tai took me back to a beachside in Hawaii. The pork chop and the salmon were cooked to perfection. Our waiter was pleasant. We were a bit chilly sitting by the window, but that didn’t hamper our dinner. We didn’t get dessert as we needed to get to a concert, but next time we are in Atlanta, it’s a good chance we will dine here again.

Fabulous in every aspect - best spot I dined at while in Atlanta for five days for a conference - so much so I went twice! Walkable from downtown core which is near to many hotels and part of a Michelin key recognized heritage hotel. Should be on your dining radar if you care about the food you eat and are looking for a great affordable place to go .
