The Three Cranes is a beautiful Grade II listed building with classic features in the centre of the charming village of Turvey.Nestled in the rolling countryside between Bedford, Milton Keynes and Northampton, Turvey is a beautiful, historical village on the river Ouse at the centre of a network of country paths. It has many historical stone buildings and is centred around the ancient manor, Turvey House. We serve food freshly prepared from high quality ingredients with a focus on local sourcing. Food was fantastic. Atmosphere was great. Wine list is exceptional for a pub. Service was hospitable but lacked a bit of attention (fork never came for one guest, sat with dessert menus for 30+ minutes, etc). In any case, will be back and already looking forward to it.

Great food, great service. I’ve been in plimsoll before because their burger. I couldn’t come back with some friends to let them try it too. We got 5 burgers but at the end we ordered 3 more with extra cheese and at the end they were even better. My friend was looking for bacon but for me the crunchiness of meat was enough. Very good balance of flavours. I tried many burgers but probably this is the best in London. I was a bit sad realising they removed the green salad with walnuts from the menu cuz it was really good but I understand can be because the seasonal changes etc. Another must to try are the potatoes with aioli. We also got other dishes but I would say these 2 were the best. The pub was full but the service was fast. The kitchen is not big but they are very organised. Same with table service, we had some requests and the blonde girl who served us was really nice and patient haha I forgot to asked her name for the mention Overall a great experience! Thank you guys!
