Set in 22 acres of stunning parkland Paris House is located on the Duke of Bedford's Estate in Woburn. Paris House blends modern culinary techniques with traditional foods to create a 6 course tasting menu. Paris House was originally built in 1878 in Paris. At the end of the 19th Century the timber framed building was dismantled and shipped piece by piece to its current home in the stunning grounds of Woburn Park. In January 2014 Paris House was bought by the businesses’ award winning Executive Chef Phil Fanning. The restaurant is managed as a family business by Fanning and his wife Claire.The restaurant’s tasting menus are based around dishes constructed with natural flavour combinations using the best seasonal produce available. Each menu has been carefully created to showcase the ingredients and provide you with a memorable dining experience.

The White Horse is a delightful old pub in Hatching Green. Five minutes from the bustling centre of Harpenden on the one hand and Junction 9 of the M1 on the other, the pub has a lovely country setting, surrounded by a large leafy garden and terrace.The bar is warm and cosy, with old parquet and low beams hung with antique copper jugs, while the dining room is light & fresh, its French windows opening onto a sunny terrace.     I only discovered this restaurant the night before we visited on Friday 22 November. The weather was very cold but the online images and reviews were very warm! Our overall experience was well worth the 35 mile round trip! From start to finish everything was exceptional! Even the background music was to our taste and at a perfect level. We will definitely be returning and thoroughly recommend this local gem.

    Paris House is wonderful. From the moment you drive into the deer park to the moment you leave, it is simply a treat. The menu is always different, the tastes and flavours are fascinating and inventive. Service is friendly but unobtrusive. We have been coming to Paris house several times every year for birthdays and special occasions for quite a few years now and hope to go on doing so.

    Clean pub, very friendly and attentive staff, lovely food. Didn't have to wait too long for food. Good choice and a lot of attention paid to my gluten intolerance.

    I believe this is the most organized bills that I had ever been! I love the way that the staff is trained to do their job! We were with a little one with us and we enjoyed the experience so much! The manager, she is just lovely, and the girl who served us ( she was training someone else as well)she was wonderful! thank you guys for having us
