Best Historic Restaurants in Lauderdale Lakes

Excellent experience - from the moment we arrived, kind, friendly and welcoming - we sat outside, our server made recommendations which didn’t disappoint. We started with a caprese salad with prosciutto and arancini to share. I got the butternut squash ravioli and my husband had the lobster ravioli in spicy red sauce- ended with tiramisu that could’ve easily been for 4 to share. Prices were in line with what we were expecting. We had a wonderful meal.

The House on the River is my “go to” for Sunday brunch prior to a show at Broward Performing Arts. This was my second visit and I am already looking forward to returning with my granddaughter in December! The food and drinks are delicious. The ambiance—both inside and outside seating—is stellar. Our waiter—“Sam”—was thoughtful and made sure we got to our show on time. A wonderful spot on the river that has old school charm with classic brunch fare beautifully prepared.

A wonderful dining experience. The food was great, the waitress was excellent and entire staff was very nice, and loved feeding the fish outside on the dock afterwards.

What a lovely evening with my parents. Pandora was our waitress. She was fantastic. Very knowledgeable with food and champagne & wine and the owner Sorry forgot her name came out and introduced herself. From champagne appetizers dinner to dessert nous Somme delicious.  we will definitely be back and referring all to frenchies table. Merci
