Best Seasonal Restaurants in Waipahu

Front service was good. Food portions were small but the taste was excellent. Prices were high for what you got. Only complaint is that the main entree took very long to reach the table. Back of the house need more help? Waiter kept apologizing as they were “backed up”. Other than that…Nami Kaze met my expectations.

The Monchong fish “gumbo” was perhaps the best fish entree I’ve had during these two weeks in Ko Olina. It was not a soup at all, but a delightful fillet of fish with rice, corn, zucchini, and even some delicious sweet cornbread snd 3 shrimp! Two of us had it, and we both loved it. The third member of our party had a burger which she also enjoyed thoroughly. Of course, we started with the Ahi tuna tacos, which are obligatory and we ended with strawberry and dreamsickle cream pies. The music was most enjoyable and service by Blaze was outstanding. He is full of information and charm! great evening!
