Knowledgeable attentive wait staff, lovely wines, quiet by busy ambience with a seasonally changing menu with intriguing and delicious dishes. New visitors to Hitchin will love the location - on the ancient Sun Street.

Always good, always good value. The only problem is trying to understand the complexities of the lunchtime menus and the various pricing options.

As usual a lovely evening with excellent service and food. Took my brother for his birthday and he certainly enjoyed his Octopus, ribeye steak and chocolate dessert. The complimentary shot at the end was much appreciated.

9 widows & 1 widower all met for Afternoon Tea. What a lovely experience. Food was good & place was lovely. Parking excellent. Will definitely return. Only comment would be. . .. scones could be better

Cane for my birthday party we had a great time staff was very attentive and welcoming. Food was delicious and reasonable prices drinks would recommend
