- OOwenvipNorthampton/Northamptonshire •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOur first Christmas Lunch of the season, and as always the Red Lion chefs worked their magic and provided us with an outstanding Christmas Lunch, which we highly recommend. Ashley and Harry served us well at the table.More infoRed LionPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Kettering•4.7
- KkayleighNorthampton/Northamptonshire •1 review4.0Dined 4 days agoFood quality was fantastic. Menu choice was good. Some dishes felt expensive for what they were eg. Bread and olives. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. It was a shame that we were asked to give up our table for the next booking and had no where else to sit and have a drink and continue our evening. I appreciate that you need to use the table but it seems to go against the ethos of tapas dining which is usually to spend a lazy evening of eating, drinking and socialising. This felt like more of a ‘fast food’ culture.More infoPig and WafflePrice: Moderate• English• Kettering•4.7
- TTraceyOxford/Oxfordshire •1 review4.0Dined on Oct 30, 2024Beautiful setting - afternoon tea in front if an open fire. Staff were extremely courteous and attentive. The free chocolates for the birthday guest was a lovely touch! And there was unlimited tea. The standard scones were deliscious and the clotted cream to die for. Disappointing the jam was in jars not a dish, there was no butter and the birthday girl's gluten free scone was more like a biscuit than a scone - too thin and shattered when split. The cakes were OK but nothing special - carrot cake and chocolate brownies pretty basic, and for £85 for three I was expecting something a bit more special - maybe at least one cream cake. The gf sandwiches were too dry to eat. Overall a lovely afternoon sipping tea in front of the fire, but turned out to be not the best birthday treat for someone who's gluten free.More infoAfternoon Tea @ Holt HotelPrice: Moderate• Afternoon Tea• Bicester•4.6
- KKatrinelOxford/Oxfordshire •1 review5.0Dined on Oct 27, 2024We’ve been dining for 3 nights at the Holt hotel and every time it was delicious and the service 10 out 10, a bit expensive but everything is I guess these days. Highly recommend the restaurant and the hotel! 🥰More infoDinner @ The Holt HotelPrice: Expensive• British• Bicester•4.1
- JjohnOxford/Oxfordshire •1 review4.0Dined on Oct 6, 2024We had a Sunday buffet lunch at the Holt as a second wedding anniversary celebration. The staff were lovely, those around 2 years ago remembering us which was lovely. It was probably the best buffet I have had. The range of veg was excellent. Thank you Holt.More infoLunch @ The Holt HotelPrice: Moderate• British• Bicester•4
