Best Lunch Restaurants in Oldham

Been a few times since 2019, always excellent food, first time we have been since the menu has changed, its not particularly close to us but only 20-30 minutes away down the motorway, and we will return again, its a unique experience and well worth it. Only ever been on a Thursday so its pretty quiet, would love to come down some time when the entertainment is on!

Steak night date night was just perfect for our anniversary. They brought us 2 glasses of champagne on the house and additionally a dessert platter for our anniversary. Really thoughtful and we felt really looked after. Can’t remember our waiters name but he was great and service was amazing. Definitely going back :)

Great service, with very attentive and helpful staff. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed. The food was delicious. We especially enjoyed the bone marrow with onions appetizer. The dish we wanted to try was sold out (the chateaubriand), so we opted for a rib eye and rump instead. We ordered three sides, all of which were delicious. The steaks were delicious , although the rib eye was tad over our preferred done-ness, and a the rump was a little tougher than we expected. The staff listened to our feedback and gave us a discount. We appreciate how seriously they took our feedback despite us assuring them the food was still good. This shows how important the customer experience is to them. Thank you.

The food was amazing. Best steak and ale pie my husband has ever had. The french onion soup was so flavourful. The staff were so lovely and friendly. Would highly recommend a visit.
