Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. We’ve long loved Canary Wharf and it's rich history of the nearby Docklands and Billingsgate Market, yet Blacklock in a glass tower never quite fit. Went ALL IN for lunch. Perfect amount for 2 blokes washed down with a very pleasant pale ale. The service was excellent, very patient and they dealt with a dairy intolerance with clear understanding of what was possible. Will be going back as I want to try the steaks next. Great value business lunch in a super location.

Literally have zero faults with Blacklock. I’ve been coming here for years and I will continue to do so. Food, drink, service - all are phenomenal. It’s amazing that you can get so much good food at fairly reasonable prices that comes with some of the best service you’ll experience. 1000% coming back for more rounds of the All In and Cheesecake!

I had the pleasure of dining at this incredible restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. The risotto was simply exquisite, cooked to perfection with a creamy texture and rich, well-balanced flavors. The highlight, however, was the lobster — prepared with such skill and attention to detail that every bite was a delight. The freshness of the seafood and the artistry in the presentation truly set this dish apart. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance made the meal even more enjoyable. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience!
