The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment. The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to. Alongside our a la carte menu we have a bar snack menu that not only runs all day, everyday but also contains such pub classics.     Food was great, but the staff made the experience 1000% better. I interacted with multiple waiters and all of them were so kind and attentive. I went there for my birthday alone and they were so amazing. I had a birthday card waiting for me when I got there, got a complimentary drink and they put a candle on my dessert. I didn't feel lonely at my dinner and I was also sitting at the counter so it was interesting looking into the kitchen. I would recommend this to anyone who hasn't been before.

    We had a wonderful experience at Grill off the Green on Friday night. The food was delicious and plenty of options for meat eaters and vegetarians. They are good size portions - we shared 2 starters between 3 and were too full for dessert. I'd pre asked for a birthday candle in my husband's pudding and even though we didn't order anything, they bought us some and all the staff sang to him! It was a really fantastic night and I would have no hesitation in recommending for any occasion. And we will be back!
