His team and the gardeners at Thyme work together to select and grow the fruits, vegetables and herbs used to create his Modern British Countryside fare. The nineteenth century former oxen house is the newest addition to the family of meticulously restored farm buildings.     Our 24th Anniversary. What a lovely restaurant. Stunning setting, great ambience and friendly greeting from Sarah. We enjoyed a beautiful slow roast pork belly with all the trimmings and we just couldn't fault it. Our starters too were excellent and light and deserts were to die for, especially the almond panacotta. We can't wait to come back. Everything freshly prepared and cooked so you do need to be prepared to wait on a Sunday. But it's definitely worth it.

    GRacious room, somewhat noisy because of many tables and people. The Sunday lunch menu is a bit limited (choice of 4 dishes for each course) but the food was very good. Portions were large and well-presented.

    From the moment my party of 4 arrived till we left the service was fantastic. Warm, friendly, attentive waiters were excellent. The food was varied hot delicious and well presented. The ambience, cleanliness and decor was outstanding. I will definitely be back.
