- AAnneGloucestershire/Wiltshire •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had a lovely meal, sat next to a lovely crackling fire. Despite the wet, windy weather outside, the atmosphere was warm, friendly and welcoming. The individual lamps on all tables enhanced the atmosphere. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and were accompanied by our adult daughter. We had a good welcome on arrival and every course was delicious . We chose from the Main menu but my husband had his favourite starter , French Onion Soup, from another menu. The red wine selection by glass was also good and my daughter had a soft drink as she drove us there. Thank you La Flambé - you remain our favourite restaurant in the area.More infoLa FlambéPrice: Very Expensive• European• Sutton Benger•4.8
- FFionaLondon •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoDelicious food, friendly and attentive service, nice ambience. We visited on a night when a big group were also dining, it didn’t affect our experience at all, we sat right in front of the kitchen which our little boy loved and we could see the chefs preparing the wonderful food. The serving staff were very friendly and welcoming. We’d definitely go back if we were in the area again.More infoThe FoxhamPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Chippenham•4.7
- TTraceyOxford/Oxfordshire •1 review4.0Dined on Oct 30, 2024Beautiful setting - afternoon tea in front if an open fire. Staff were extremely courteous and attentive. The free chocolates for the birthday guest was a lovely touch! And there was unlimited tea. The standard scones were deliscious and the clotted cream to die for. Disappointing the jam was in jars not a dish, there was no butter and the birthday girl's gluten free scone was more like a biscuit than a scone - too thin and shattered when split. The cakes were OK but nothing special - carrot cake and chocolate brownies pretty basic, and for £85 for three I was expecting something a bit more special - maybe at least one cream cake. The gf sandwiches were too dry to eat. Overall a lovely afternoon sipping tea in front of the fire, but turned out to be not the best birthday treat for someone who's gluten free.More infoAfternoon Tea @ Holt HotelPrice: Moderate• Afternoon Tea• Bicester•4.6
- KKatrinelOxford/Oxfordshire •1 review5.0Dined on Oct 27, 2024We’ve been dining for 3 nights at the Holt hotel and every time it was delicious and the service 10 out 10, a bit expensive but everything is I guess these days. Highly recommend the restaurant and the hotel! 🥰More infoDinner @ The Holt HotelPrice: Expensive• British• Bicester•4.1
- JjohnOxford/Oxfordshire •1 review4.0Dined on Oct 6, 2024We had a Sunday buffet lunch at the Holt as a second wedding anniversary celebration. The staff were lovely, those around 2 years ago remembering us which was lovely. It was probably the best buffet I have had. The range of veg was excellent. Thank you Holt.More infoLunch @ The Holt HotelPrice: Moderate• British• Bicester•4
