Best Brunch Restaurants in Crosthwaite

An outstanding addition to Ancoats. The moment we walked in we knew we would love it. We felt very welcomed when we arrived and the staff were friendly and attentive. From the menu to the design of the restaurant you can tell that it’s been well thought out and it shows. We chose five plates to share between us, each one beautiful but I think the octopus was the star of the show for me. The quality of the food is excellent. Love the subtle nod to the Italian history in Ancoats too. We can’t wait for our next visit, thank you Bruco!

We both chose the set menu. 3 courses with good options was excellent value for money. The prawn cocktail was particularly good. The highlight was the sticky toffee dessert which I can honestly say is the best I have ever had. Choices for the main course were not overly exciting but beautifully presented. I opted for the haddock served in a cheese sauce which I enjoyed. The service was excellent, friendly but non intrusive. The dining room was full yet we were served promptly and made to feel welcome. The dining room itself is a special treat overlooking the lake.

Beautiful venue, excellent food, fantastic service

Our 2nd time visiting since The Ryebeck reopened and we were not disappointed. We went with friends for Sunday lunch, the food and staff were exceptional. We will be returning. The bonus of us been able to take our dog is also a plus to us as when we are in Winderemer we are on holiday with him. I would highly recommend The Ryebeck to friends and family
