Have been to some fine dining establishments in the past and most were not worth the price of the food. This definitely turned our heads to how great a fine dining experience can be. While my original filet was overcooked to a medium well rather than medium rare, the second steak was melt in your mouth amazing. Had their Brussels sprouts which were a highlight, lobster Mac n’cheese, added a lobster tail upgrade and it all was magnificent. Ended the night with chocolate lava cakes served with vanilla ice cream and house made chantilly cream. We celebrated our anniversary last night and they did cute little things like dropping off petals, giving us lots of time to just enjoy each other without rushing the meal. One of the managers brought us a taste of a new gin created in Cincinnati when she heard I was a gin drinker. As for the FOOD? She was patient while we were catching up with friends and we didn’t feel rushed throughout our dining experience. Eddie Merlot is one of our favorite restaurants and a go to when we have out of town guests. Save room for coffee AND dessert.
