Best Steakhouses in Hightstown

Four out of 6 picked the filet mignon and 2 ,the grouper. all enjoyed their picksThere were a variety of appetizers ,sides and desserts ,chosen which all enjoyed The portions were large enough to share. we were 6 women and were their for date night to celebrate a birthday. Our food choices were off that menu. and this was about the 5th year we have celebrated there . We were disappointed there was a $15 up charge for the steak, but still felt it was great price for the dinners .

Exceptional food, Porterhosue was amazing I have been looking for a great steak house had tried many, service top notch wow! Only improvement I’d recommend is expanding your craft beer menu.

Server Merve provided perfect service, knowledgeable of the menu and good at matching menu items with our taste and interest. The experience was delightful, food was excellent. Don’t forget to leave room for the chocolate moose cake! If you’re going to Char Stake House, do yourself a favor and ask to be seated in Merve’s section to ensure that you have the best possible experience Char can provide!

This new place was amazing! The ambience is on point. The service was fantastic. The food was delicious. My only minor complaint is that the seasoning used on the steak was a bit too salty for me... but aside from that... It was cooked perfect... And I was able to get past that... Because my steak was tender, Baked potato was amazing.. And my clam chowder soup appetizer was the best I ever had!

Everything was absolutely outstanding, delicious. Our server Danielle was nothing short of amazing! Definitely a must try for anyone who has not been!
