For entree, I had the almond crusted mahi, while my fiance ordered the pontchartrain! Both were out of this world! We also ordered the sparkling lavender cocktail and the peach mule for drinks, and both were excellent choices! We really enjoyed ourselves! Our server was wonderful also. I had asked him about the menu options and had assumed he would have just hyped up the more expensive options and he didn't, he was so sincere in his response and I really appreciated his honesty. Not going to lie, usually the service is terrible but V-Day it was fantastic! The food came out super fast, and our waitress Raquel was super friendly and lovely! Would highly recommend her! The only upsetting part was they didn’t have the warm chocolate chip cookie skillet for dessert! I made reservations ahead of time on Valentine’s Day (they all are always really busy on this day), and waited less than 10 minutes for a table. I always make reservations at this location, but I’ll have to say that for the most part they’re never really needed. My wife really likes the Hill Country grilled chicken salad. We met the Manager, Scott who was the nicest, friendliest person who went above and beyond to make our dinner so very special. You see....we lost our precious daughter, Jenna 20 months ago. It was sudden and traumatic. The Boathouse and the Fillet Mignon sliders were here favorite. Her last birthday Orlando celebration in February 2023 was so special. We lost her suddenly in June 2023. We live on Long Island, we visit 3 to 4 times per year and T.J. has always taken care of us. Thank you to the staff at Tje Boathouse, T.J. and Scott for helping us through our grief at Jenna's favorite restaurant. You help to heal my heart!
