- AAlyssaNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe loved the Ridges and will be back. The porterhouse shared was fantastic, rivaling any and surpassing many of the “classic” famous steakhouses in NY. I would easily say it was the best I have experienced in CT. The only draw back I would note was perhaps my own ordering. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass which had a thin potato topping. It was a very pricey fish at over $50. That alone should have given me pause, but I was curious and gave it a try. It was on the side of over cooked and the preparation was very heavy for such a fish. I wish I could have liked it but in the end I regretted it. I should have gone with the steak which is clearly where Ridges shines. Service was fantastic and for a steakhouse in a strip mall, my party was impressed. We would never have suspected how good it was. Definitely expensive, but definitely worth another trip for the steaks.More infoThe Ridges Seafood & SteakhousePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Stamford•4.7

I’ve been coming to this restaurant from Connecticut for over 10 years and I’ve never been dissatisfied. The food and service and atmosphere are excellent. - RRosemaryConnecticut •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 9, 2024I hoped the experience for a birthday for a party of two would have been provided not at a bar table, the noise so very loud we had to text each other to converse. I pointed to the items on the menu after 3 many attempts for the waiter to understand and crowd was way too many stsnding in the aisle and staff could not pass, just not a great spot for intimate party of 2 for a personal birthday dinner. I was truly impressed when I announced my name the hostess said ah yes for the birthday. thank youMore infoMIX Prime Steakhouse and FishPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Danbury•4.1
- SSteveNew York City •34 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 2, 2024The ambient soundtrack, not heavy metal or rap but I caught Jon Bon Jovi in ther, tells you something about this restaurant’s schizophrenic identity. The menu is almost excessively wide-ranging, from wings to lobster, in an sattempt to appeal to all comers, yet the prices invite a somewhat higher-incomed clientele. The interior is hardscaped, with no sound-absorbing fabric in sight(except the napkins) amidst the poured flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows and granite tabletops. The service was accomodating but slow at obvious transition points in the progression of the meal. Our order: appetizer of calamari was plentiful, oddly(for me) sprinkled with gorgonzola and drizzled with balsamic but delicious; an ahi tuna salad ( beautifully presented) and a clam and bacon flatbread that seemed a bit overdone/crispy. Two proseccos, a glass of pinot grigio and a bill of $120…. I want to try this location on a summer evening when there’s outdoor dining and enough light to enjoy the harborviews. Otherwise, it is not a top choice in several categoriesMore infoBoca Oyster BarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Bridgeport•4.3
