Best Farm To Table Restaurants in Banff

Our entire experience was absolutely wonderful. From our server being friendly, knowledgeable, and suggestive, to our great drinks and food was outstanding. We enjoyed the Chef’s Tasting Menu and everything was so well portioned and tasty. We will be back the next time we visit Banff and would highly recommend to future diners.

We were a party of two and started with the table-side Caesar salad and garlic bread, both of which were amazing. For our mains, we ordered the 12 oz Alberta strip and the 16 oz Wagyu striploin. The steaks were cooked perfectly—juicy, with just the right amount of salt and pepper and a great crust. For sides, we chose broccolini, mushrooms, and potato gratin. I expected the gratin to be more like mashed potatoes, but that was my misunderstanding of what potato gratin is. Overall, it was a very good dining experience, with excellent service. I'm glad I finally tried Chuck’s and will definitely return in the future. The total was $450 after tip, which was reasonable considering the amount of food; we could have easily shared it among 3-4 people.

Living in Calgary and having lived in “real” cities, Ankor is as close to big city excellence as you will find in Alberta. Food and service are above and beyond and what one would expect if they lived anywhere else in the world Forget thinking that the in places in Calgary are actually good and make the drive to Canmore for the best restaurant in Alberta

We went went to the Bistro to celebrate a special occassion. The staff could not have been any friendlier if they tried, and the chef even came out to chat with us. The food was outstanding and can’t wait to go back.

The Sky Bistro was a great experience overall, I got the short rib and I’d order it again! Our waiter James was very kind!
