- HHaojieNew York City •1 review4.0Dined 4 days agoWas here last year, the experience and food was amazing. Decided to try again for my birthday, this time was somewhat disappointing. Ingredients quality is there, however I can taste the oil this time. The outer layer of most bites aren't crisp as last time. The server is mishandling presentations, unless it's one piece then they was able put it straight on the paper. Overall compare to my experience last year, very disappointed this year.More infoTempura MatsuiPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Midtown East•4.9
- RRonVIPNew York City •7 reviews4.0Dined on Feb 27, 2025Food was very good but service was lacking. Our plates were brought out at separate times with significant gaps between the two of us. At the end of lunch we were the last table still there and still had to request our bill.More infoWanoPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Midtown East•4.8
- EEuanNew York City •1 review5.0Dined on Feb 17, 2025My girlfriend and I have never had a more passionately curated, delectably tasting, experience of a dinner. We went for our anniversary and truly had a night to remember, everything from the intricate and beautiful preparation of each course to the simple yet perfect taste of even just the rice, everything was perfect. The fish, the drinks, the fresh wasabi, the staff. Words can’t describe how wonderful of a dinner this was, the staff just radiate with passion and are a joy to talk to. Counting the days until we make it back, an absolute must try!!!More infoOmakase Shihou (Shiro) - MidtownPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese Speciality• Midtown East•4.7
- JJeanetteVIPNew York City •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 27, 2025Quiet Sunday evening and perfect! Excellent service; amazing fresh sushi. Rolled beautifully with lots of fish and thin rice. Started with two of their house special miso soups- excellent. Simple seaweed salad was anything but simple; delicious. Had one other appetizer and specialty rolls. There were lots of choices on the main menu as well. Something for everyone. I have eaten sushi in every major city- rarely do I post reviews; but Nare Sushi, I definitely recommend.More infoNare SushiPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Midtown East•4.6
