After his tragic death some 7 years ago, I worried quality and service might change. I am joyous to say, the restaurant is doing better than ever. It was delightful to have a special menu for me and friends to celebrate Galentines. The food was delicious, perfectly spiced and expertly prepared. The Branzino fish was spectacular. Service impeccable. Ambience was cozy, warm and inviting. Long live Celebration - truly one of a kind dining establishment in the entire metroplex.More infoCelebration RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Farm-to-table• Park Cities•4.7
- KKimTexas Panhandle •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoMy husband and I decided to try Republic Texas Tavern for our Valentine’s Day date night, so I made reservations. Upon first entering, the space looked warm and inviting and the hostess was so friendly and attentive. We didn’t have to wait long at all before our server came to greet us and offer assistance with the menu. Everything came out really promptly, but not so fast that we didn’t get to enjoy the pacing of the meal. (I don’t love it when you’ve just gotten your appetizer and your entree is coming out right on top of it). Our waiter even brought us a little bowl of the house made barbecue chips after I had commented on how delicious the house made tortilla chips were! Our meal consisted of: cocktails - a house margarita for my husband and I ordered a Kent’s Honey Bee (both of which had plenty of alcohol and were delicious), chips and dips platter (salsa, pimento cheese and guacamole dips with aforementioned homemade chips), the grilled salmon for me, with a broccolini mix and honey drizzle, and my husband had the steak frites with carmelized onion on top (it also comes with blue cheese on top, but my husband had them hold that part). We had a delicious bourbon bread pudding for dessert- oh my goodness… indulgence at its finest! They also had a special Valentine’s menu from which you could order if you wanted. It wasn’t a pre-fixe menu like many restaurants do, but rather a menu from which you could order whatever you wanted. The ambience was very cozy. We were seated in a huge oversized booth, and so we sat on the same side. It was very comfortable, and I could’ve honestly stayed there all night! My husband is somewhat particular when it comes to food, so he’s not easily impressed with most places - and he actually really liked this restaurant. For everything we ordered, the tab was very reasonable. We will definitely, without a doubt, be back!More infoRepublic Texas TavernPrice: Moderate• American• North Dallas•4.8

We kicked things off with the deviled eggs and gumbo, and as a self-proclaimed gumbo connoisseur, I can confidently say this was one of the best I’ve had in a long time—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. For the main course, we went with a family staple: fried chicken. It was everything you want in fried chicken—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. The collard greens were packed with flavor, and the shrimp fried rice was a delicious surprise, full of bold and savory notes. To top it all off, my cousin and I enjoyed a few of their specialty cocktails, the Purple Rain was absolutely fantastic. Meeting the chef was a highlight; she was incredibly kind and accommodating, which made the experience even more special. Although I don’t live in Dallas, I’m already looking forward to coming back. If you’re a local or just visiting, this place is a must-try!More infoRoots Southern TablePrice: Very Expensive• Southern• North Dallas•4.9
- KKimberleyLas Vegas •7 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe had reservation for Feb 11th for a table of 13 (business meal). Everything from the service, our waitress Summer was amazing, to the food and location were absolutely phenomenal. The sous chef came out and checked on us a few times to ensure we were satisfied with our meals and service. This experience was a 10/10 and we will be back!More infoYardbird Table & Bar - DallasPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Southern• Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW) Corridor•4.7
